Sertac Sahin
Meet DJ & Producer Sertac Sahin. In his early years in music it all had began with a solid understanding in classical piano and transitioned into the flute.After starting his own in-house studio in 2002, the production began to take on more weight. The ability to create electronic music developed itself into his primary interest. In this period he graduated from the Classical Music Division from the Istanbul Fine Arts Conservatory. Gaining live experience with a well played weekly House set came an announcement to change and capture a wider audience for electronic music. During the 2005 FG Electronic Music Festival, Sertac played live with industry reputable names on the main stage in front of almost 10,000 people. Istanbul's nightlife had began to explode all over again and his mixing and production increased ten-fold as a growing reputation for Sertac's sound was established.
His first single from Funkfield Records was released as "Simit Castle". Later a release from M-Vitamin Recordings and from JumpSky Recordings were released. At the moment, Sertac Sahin currently works on producing a new style House sound that reaches to the Progressive House-Tech House spectrum.
Sertac recently released a new remix of "The Hype" by Rene Benoit on Bosphorus Underground Recordings. His new future plans include working closely with "Move the Masses" Recording Label founded by Rene Benoit himself. There are new goals and ideas that are available to a European producer in the United States, Sertac Sahin's style will finally evolve to have a mind of its own.
