Establishing himself in Montreal, Canada in 2007 René Benoit was well received and quickly got involved in the local techno scene, building a long lasting residency at Montreal's hottest Afterhours "Circus" (Voted #66 DJ MAG Top 100 Clubs in the world 2010). Promoters, club owners and party goers alike quickly learned that Rene Benoit is an artist you can rely on and he quickly became a staple of The Montreal Nightlife.

Willing to push the sonic boundary to take people and sound to a new level, this artist's reputation as a man who constantly delivers and never disappoints continues to grow. In early 2008 René Benoit established his emergent record label, Move The Masses and made his way into the charts with this track "Clink" hitting the Juno Download Techno Bestsellers at # 2 along along with his release " The Hype" on Ahmet Sendil's label, Bosphorus Underground which gained him a release that hit #76 in the Beatport Top 100 Minimal charts.
